STIDO Kids Athletics

Athletics, with its diverse materials, is a good ground for satisfying interests and a great opportunity for peer communication; Thus, athletics has continued as a special opportunity for such exchanges, but adult standards are not suitable for children and often lead to specialization as well as early heroism, which is detrimental to most children.

In the spring of 2001, the Working Group of the International Association of Athletics Federations took the lead in “Children’s Athletics” and introduced a new concept of competition for children, which was markedly different from the adult athletics model. Dad. This concept was henceforth referred to at the IAAF as Junior Athletics.

The concept of “hero child” or Kids’ Athletics

“IAAF Kids Athletics” is intended to create excitement in athletics through play activities. New disciplines and innovative organization will enable children to discover basic activities: sprinting, endurance, jumping, throwing anywhere (gym, playground, indoor gym, any available and accessible sports environment).

Athletics provides an opportunity for children to make the most of useful athletic training in terms of health, education and self-fulfillment.
